There are so many people interested in careers as teachers and educators. It is truly a selfless position that some people are drawn to. It is helping others at the basic levels of education so they can continue on their path. If you are one of these people there is a place that you can recieve an education and experience. The Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellowship offers individuals that are recent college graduates or career changers in any of the STEM fields a chance to get a master’s degree with a $30,000 stripend. The Teaching Fellowships have a way that the students who need the most can get the teachers that they need to teach them and the teachers can get the experience they need at the same time. You have to commit to teach for at least three years in a high need school. You will have in the classroom support and you will recieve a field based master’s degree in teacher education. If you have completed an undergraduate degree in a STEM field by June 2011 and have graduated with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and you support the goals of this program then you will qualify as a candidate. The sign up date is September 1st so you need to hurry and sign up for this chance to make a difference.
