In some businesses the use of time tracking helps improve the efficiency in billing to its customers and just the general tracking of ones hours and how the use the hours. Then for other business situations time tracking is more of a chore to track your time over the day since you may do ten thousand things over the day.
This one company tried to use time tracking software to track employee hours, this in turn was a way the CFO was trying to track everyones time on a minute by minute basis. The only problem with this was that non of the one hundred plus employees did not bill out to customers we were just working 10 to 12 hour days. At the time I did not get paid by the hour so everything over eight hours was free to the company. The time management software experiment lasted about another month then died on the vine. I just wished upper management would has for input before we wasted the time, money and software investment.
They should have read online reviews by industry experts and test the software before we bought it. It would have saved us all the headache part. But for other companies I have worked for the time tracking billing software made us money and made it easier to track time and get paid.

I find that I complete projects when I am able to spend more time of uninterrupted access. This means to block out everything around me. The only bad thing about project management focus is that I block out my family, pets and friends. I am sorry sometimes this is necessary to complete the management of a project or to get caught up on a project. Now that I have access to project management software on the internet I can spend lest time on a project management and focus more time on its completion. This helps me with labor costs, general costs and documents that is part of the projects. Since our world is now mobile and you can do just about everything with a mobile device or tablet. This hold true with project management software. Giving all that is involved in a project to utilize the data from one place, talk about being able to manage and move forward with a project. This had been one of my issues with not everyone was working from the same information.
